She has a feeling Minako knows she's nervous, but it's not so much upset nervous as wanting everything to be perfect. When her partner appears, Rei forces herself to stay seated, but reaches up to take Minako's hand in kind.]

Minako, its your birthday. And the first one we're sharing as...we are now. I cannot, and will not, let that go unmarked. I want to make you happy, and I want to spoil you, too.
